Set up Departments to organise workflows, allocate tasks, and manage costs, ensuring smooth integration with accounting.

Click the + New Department button.

Enter a Department Name that clearly describes the area of work.

Specify the Default Hourly Rate, based on the currency selected in the Details tab under Company Settings.

Select the relevant Sales Code and Cost of Sales Code for accounting purposes.

Click the Save button to add the Department.
