# Accounting

Manage financial integrations and accounts in the Accounting tab. Connect to Xero or create custom accounts for seamless tracking.

## Syncing to Xero

Under the **Account Actions** drop-down, click on **Connect to Xero**.

Log into your Xero account using your credentials.

Follow the prompts until you are redirected back to Agencydesk.

You can confirm the integration by logging into Xero and going to the **Manage App Connections** section to verify that Agencydesk has been connected.

## Adding Accounts

Under the **Account Actions** Dropdown, Click on the **+ New Account** button.

Fill in the following details:

* **Account Code:** The account code as referenced in your accounting software.
* **Account Type:** Select the type of account. There are only two options available, namely Sales and Cost of Sales.
* **Account Name:** Provide a descriptive name for the account.
* **Integration Reference:** Required by some accounting platforms. This can be the same as the Account Name.

Click the **Save** button to finalise your new account.

Agencydesk currently integrates only with **Xero**. Support for additional accounting software will be released with future updates.
