Estimates

Build and refine Job estimates before work begins. Plan tasks, costs, and pricing clearly before activating or billing a job.

The Estimates tab allows you to build, review, and refine Job estimates before work begins or as scope evolves.

  • Open a Job.

  • Select the Estimates tab.

Creating an Estimate

  • Click the + New Estimate button.

  • Add a relevant Cost Estimate Name.

  • Select a future Valid Until date.

  • Select an option from the Payment Terms dropdown.

  • If applicable, edit the Estimate Description.

Estimate descriptions automatically pull through from the Job Description.

  • Select the applicable Groups, Tasks or Costs to be added to the Estimate.

  • Click the Generate Estimate button.

  • Options to download or delete the Estimate are visible when hovering over it.

  • When viewing a created Estimate, Tasks can be activated by clicking the Activate Tasks button.
